Why Cant Pc's Fix Themselves

Why cant they make a PC that fixes itself. I spent 2 hours today fixing mine. The driver that makes my Sony DV cam work as a webcam got corrupted, I couldnt shut my PC down, all my programs kept crashing. The drivers uninstall program didnt work, neither did a special uninstall package thats ment to work to uninstall the uninstallable!. I had to do it all manually, then reinstall the driver and its fixed. I was almost going to go out tomorrow and buy a new PC.
You can get new ones for £300 which are good enough for webcamming etc, so theyre almost throw away items now. It would probably have cost £100 just to get someone to look at it. I remember my first PC costing £1000 and that was pretty standard, thank god their cheaper now.

So on cam for a bit now, and filming a new clip for my site tomorrow morning with Parker my chauffeur.
